- Failure to promptly notify Ingredion Canada Corporation in writing of any discrepancies, objection to or disagreement with the terms and conditions shall indicated acceptance of this contract. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract shall be settled in accordance with the principles set out in the National Grain and Feed Association Trade Rules.
- All grain trading done by Ingredion Canada Corporation shall be under the Canada Grain Act. Ingredion Canada Corporation weights and grades to govern subject to Canadian Grain Commission standards.
- Chemical treatment of corn is only approved in accordance with Canadian Grain Commission fumigation standards.
- The seller guarantees that the vehicle delivering corn has not previously hauled prohibited material as documented by Ingredion Canada Corporation "Acceptable Agri-Products Back Haul" #USCN-QA-L-001.
- Loads will be screened for glowers which indicate possible presence of aflatoxin. Ingredion Canada Corporation will determine the acceptable vomitoxin and aflatoxin levels each crop year.
- Loads with moisture levels above 15.6% will be reduced to 15.5% moisture equivalent. No drying charges will be assessed until moisture is at or over 16.5%. Wet corn contracts will have corn that is greater than or equal to 16.5% but less than 28.0% moisture. Ingredion Canada Corporation can only receive this wet corn between the months of October and December.
- All corn shipped and applied to this contract guaranteed Cool, Sweet & Merchantable and fit for human consumption in both Canada and the United States, as well as meeting all other contractual quality specifications.
- Any corn that is over shipped on this contract will be priced at Ingredion Canada Corporation spot price on the day that it is delivered.
- All basis contracts must be priced prior to shipment. The Basis price includes all currency differences between Canada and the U.S.A. The total price will not be adjusted in any way. Ingredion Canada Corporation reserves the right to price Basis only contracts.
